This supplier was faced with launching a new interior panel program for a major new truck launch. The program was not just a new product, it was a new process that required a new production cell. The cell included a heat forming process, a waterjet trimming process, an adhesive spray process and a heated assembly process.

IET provided a hands on approach to debug the production process and optimize quality and productivity. Many process problems had to be solved in order to get consistently good parts that met the customer’s requirements. IET was on site during the PPAP process to answer questions and provide guidance. The new product was launched successfully and on time.
